Why Rookies?

Rookies is a unique fitness facility on Long Island exclusively designed to help children grow as athletes while building confidence. Our programs are tailored toward different age groups, ranging from 15 months (walking) to 14 years of age. Our curriculum is designed to take fitness, sports and fun to a whole new superpower level. At Rookies we believe fitness is not just about physical activity. Fitness also helps kids develop social skills, self-esteem, and overall wellbeing. Our classes are designed to be interactive and engaging for children of all ages and abilities!

My son's Dek hockey team (7-9yrs old) did a conditioning work out here at Rookies. He enjoyed it and said the his hamstrings were sore the next day so he definitely got a workout. The staff were very friendly and engaging and hands on.... We will be back!
